Moises Saman was borned in Lima, Peru but grew up in Spain and studied in the U.S. Moises became interested in photojournalism through his studies in sociology, using photography as a way to explore the world, searching for the common threats among seemingly foreign cultures ans societies. Since 2001 Moises's work has focused on the ongoing wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as the major international news issues and events that continue to shape this generation.
"As a journalist I am interested in searching for the positive commonalities in human spirit, to expose those intimate moments among people that remains us of dignity and hope in the face of conflict."
